Katie and Kara have over 20 years of combined experience in treating pediatric patients. They worked together for 5 years as a dynamic OT/COTA team serving the pediatric population at a clinic in their rural community. It was during this time that they discovered the lack of resources available to families of children with sensory processing difficulties. They wanted to create something that was effective, fun, and easy to use with the goal of allowing all children to reach their highest potential by helping improve their sensory regulation.

Katie graduated with her master’s in Occupational Therapy in 2009 and has been in practice ever since. Early in her career, she got involved in treating the pediatric population. Katie has a passion for educating and getting to know the individual. Providing parents the right tools to successfully help their child at home is one of the most fulfilling parts of her job.

Kara became an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in 2006. She has worked in many settings and did some traveling therapy work as well in Oregon, Arkansas and Alaska before settling back in Walla Walla, Washington to raise her family. She worked in a private pediatric clinic before teaming up with Katie at a non-profit clinic serving kids and families.
